Save your skin and read this book.
This is an ideal book for the chainsaw novice. If you buy a chainsaw to use in the garden get this book, it could save your life. Chainsaws can be lethal in the hands of the inexperienced/uninformed.

All you need.
As an experienced (20 plus years including felling for a living) chainsaw user I still found things to learn from in this book. Very useful and one I go back from and dip into. Takes you from very basics to techniques for windblow and problem trees. I'd reccomend this without hesitation.
