Product Description

Around the town of Sunnydale, they say that a scarecrow saturated with Halloween rain will come alive and slaughter every one in sight. Buffy's best friends, Xander and Willow, used to think the tale was nonsense, but now they're not so sure.

Customer Reviews

It's the first Buffy book I've ever read, but it was great!5
OK, so it's only my first Buffy book, but I thought it was absolutely amazing!!!! It's all about this legend in Sunnydale, about an evil scarecrow (also known as the Pumpkin King) who Buffy comes face to face with, after having to battle with zombies and 5 vamps! Willow and Xander also get pursued by two cowboys (who are really vampires) who they nickname Red and Blue-Eyes. Anyway you must read this book, as it's really gripping and you can build a picture in your head of it all happening! It's definitely encouraged me to read loads more Buffy books!

Best buff book i've read!5
OK, I've only read about four Buffy fiction books but this was the best story of the lot! I understood everything even though it was set way back in season 1. A very nice read, although there was a little too much stuff about the slayer, y'know in "every generat...." most of the book was explaining stuff like that, "Giles her watcher, watcher are..blah blah yak." Apart from that I thought it was brillant and would make an amazing Halloween episode if done today!

: Best Buffy children's range fiction book!

Exciting4
This book was really exciting and interesting. The only thing which confused me was the fact that in the episode Halloween, Giles told Buffy that vampires didn't do anything on Halloween but in this book, they did! Apart from that it was a great book.
