Editorial Reviews

From the Author
A fun novelization of three great episodes
THE XANDER YEARS is a novelization in the same vein (pun intended) as THE ANGEL CHRONICLES -- prose versions of three episodes of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, in this case episodes focusing on Buffy's lovelorn friend Xander Harris. The episodes include "Teacher's Pet" (gorgeous substitute bio teacher turns out to be a praying mantis), "Inca Mummy Girl" (gorgeous exchange student turns out to be a 500-year-old murdering mummy), and "Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered" (Xander casts a love spell on Cordelia that backfires rather spectacularly).

It was great fun to take these episodes and flesh them out a bit. I have every confidence that that fun will also be felt by the reader. Enjoy!

Customer Reviews

If you like the series, then you'll love this book5
This book novalizes three episodes of the seires, but shows them as seen from Xanders point of view. The main theme of the book is "Xander and Women", the episodes included are "teachers pet", "inca mummy girl" and "Bewiched, bothered and bewildered", three of the best episodes anyway. If Vol 1 is this good, then i can't wait for Vol 2....... excellent :)

The Xander Years 14
The book is basically 3 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer that are significant to Xander-with the show you get to see some emotions but the book gives you the insight to each character is feeling and their reactions that you dont always see on the t.v..
In each story You find out how Xander is treated-the good thing with the book is you get really engrossed in it and if you have seen the Episode then you know what to imagine and it helps.

IT'S TV MANIA! Wow this book rocked5
Well this novelises 3 episodes and I the best one was Bewitched bothererd and Bewildererd because it was funny! Even if you've seen the episodes you'll still get a kick out of it if your a Buffy Fan. Reviewed by Conor Behan the 12 year old Buffy Fan From Ireland
