Product Description

Knowledge of marijuana's medicinal properties is not new - Queen Victoria used it to alleviate period pains - but now, after many years of disinterest on the part of the medical establishment, demand is growing for wider official use of the drug. Among the qualities claimed for it are pain relief (especially for people suffering from spinal injuries and chronic muscle spasms), appetite stimulation, and relief from the symptoms of multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and glaucoma. In this book, three doctors describe each type of condition that marijuana can alleviate, explain recent scientific research, and provide practical information on the best ways to take it.

Cannabis as therapeutic medicine5
A very well structured book, it lays out the basics first, then goes into more detail concerning individual ailments and illnesses and the uses of Cannabis to alleviate symptoms. Being written by doctors and educated persons alike, this book gets away from the jokey hippie imagery associated with most cannabis books, and is presented in a mature, accessible way with an informative and knowledgeable approach to a difficult to broach subject. Whether you are within or without the law in your country, and feel that cannabis may or may not benefit your ailment, this book could hold an answer. Top marks, great reference book and argument provoker!
