A very intresting, well-written and enjoyable novel.
I found this Angel novel, very enjoyable and intresting. The story had 3 different stories running through it which didn't come together until the last few chapters which then made evrything click and showed that this novel had a great structure to it. The story sees Doyle having a vision of a girl in trouble - she turns out to be the daughter of a famous Hollywood film directer. Angel manages to get himself hired as her bodyguard while Cordelia thinks she has made the big time when she is offered a job working on the set - but as a guide! Meanwhile, an old and dying rish magican is after Angel and plans to steal his immortality so he can live longer to perform a powerful spell which will bring a demon to earth. Kate also appears in the novel having a hard time finding a gang of bank robbers. This novel is well written and it captures the main themes of the show well. Recommended!
Get Your Facts Right
Quite a resonable read, but one thing stood out..they did not research the character Angel. I was getting very irritated by the fact that Angel kept having flashbacks to Ireland, before he became a vampire and they kept calling him Angleus not Liam as he should have been called.
An excellent book with Angel in Hollywood acting bodyguard.
After rescuing a film studio boss' daughter,Angel is offered job as her bodyguard.He takes the job,as Doyle had a vision with Karinna's face in it.Soon,Angel finds himself captured by Mordractus,a dying socerer with plans for Angel's head.Afterwards,Angel has to think hard over who the real bad guy is.
