Customer Reviews

Last Chance Cafe4
I think the previous reviewer must be referring to a different book of tis title , as the story is not of someone going to stay with their aunt for the summer.

A divorced mum of twins is forced to flee following the murder of her stepfather, as her ex-husband, an asst DA, may have something to do with it.
She stumbles upon the Last Chance Cafe where the locals take her and her daughters in and she ends up falling for Chance Qualtough, a rancher. There are other, easily liked, characters, and this book is full of passion and in line with most LLM books. Would recommend.

reasonably entertaining3
I got this book free with a magazine and was bored so thought id give it a read.
Its the story of a girl who goes to stay with her Auntie for the summer and is dreading it. However, once she arrives things aren't as bad as she thought they would be.
The book is quite entertaining to read though a little predictable. The characters are original and likeable, and it is interesting to see the main character develop and to learn more about the background characters.
Overall, The Last Chance Cafe is an enjoyable read if you're wanting something light, fun and not too long, but don't be expecting anything magnificent.
