Customer Reviews
Poor in relation to other books
I found this book dificult to get through even though it did not go into excessive detail. It is written without an ounce of humour and no attempt to relate to the reader is made. The full colour format is not made full use of but without it the book would be unreadable. The more productive and "fun" aspects of photoshop are left until the end thus it is difficult for beginners to feel as if they have achived anything. Try teach yourself photoshop 5.5 in 24 hours by the same publisher, much better and cheaper if longer. Then again you need a better referance for such an able application.
Informative and straight to the point colour information
I found the colour plates very useful. I also like the fact that each page does not dwell on the subject in vast depth. Ideal for the Non Pro user
Adobe Photoshop X
Gives you all you need to know in a simple fashion. Good for beginners.
