An easy to use authorative work
I'm taking a logic module optionally as part of a degree in Politics and I've been completely confused by it. Logic borders on the Philosophy of Mathematics, and I haven't done set theory. However, Quine has written excellent books such as this one that explain cleary the issues and set out his own solutions as well as summarising others. Ideal for an absolute beginner, or revision purposes, I'd recommend this to anyone with an interest in the way language works.
