Average customer review:Product Description
Since pharmacokinetics can greatly affect how different patients respond to the same drug, both students and physicians need a basic clinical understanding of this vital area. The Third Edition of "Clinical Pharmacokinetics" provides a practical perspective, with these added features: considerations of both stereochemistry and the increasing number of polypeptide and protein drugs being developed; the range and number of problems at the end of each chapter has been expanded; a second color added to make the text more user friendly; and, important equations highlighted by shading.

Customer Reviews
Excellent text, clear definitions of the fundamentals.
This is an excellent text for undergraduates studying pharmacokinetics. The text focuses on the fundamental concepts and explains the clinical applications of this subject. It contains relevant study problems with worked answers for understanding and revision purposes at the end of each chapter. The text includes many well-explained diagrams to assist in the explanation of concepts. The authors refer to the book as introductory, however, a sound knowledge of physiology and pharmacology, in my opinion, would be helpful.
CLINICAL PHARMOCOKINETICS BY ROWLAND /TOWSER
A fantstic guide and learning aid.Approaches the somtimes difficult concepts at different angles, which make it a lot easier to master.I found it also gave me a lot of confidence and understanding in the subject.Prof.Malcolm Rowland in my opinion is the most superior in this field, on the planet.I was a student at Manchester university UK.where he lectures and works,i feel that i didn't get the chance to appreciate his 'genius' in this field at the time when i was reading my Pharmacy degree.I highly recommend this text as it is 'simply the best'by the best
