excllent quality pictures and a lucid text
I really like this MRCP picture book which is aimed both at the written part 2 MRCP and simultaneously the OSCE style part. Each case features a picture (excellent quality), some short answer questions and then the answers over the next page. The text gives a special emphasis on the clinical findings as one would expect to see in PACES. The only negative points of the book are - 1) that it was written in 1996 but its plain to see that the features of classic cases have not changed so the effect of these 13 years is fairly minimal, 2) it feautres short answer questions as opposed to best of five. Overall I would say this is an underutilized gem and i recommend it strongly. I still read it for pleasure several years after the MRCP!
