Multiple choice questions (MCQs) are popular with examining bodies because they allow accurate ranking of examinees in a convenient manner. This volume contains over 1600 questions, each with five statements, derived for the fourth edition of Kumar and Clark's "Clinical Medicine". Although no explanations accompany the answers at the end of each chapter, every question contains a cross reference to "Clinical Medicine", to allow for ready reference to the original text.

A Must!
Over 900 questions in all main formats. MCQs, EMQs and best of 5. All specialities covered and based on Kumar and Clark. Just like in the student journals all answers are fully broken down and explained to keep your mind ticking over. The questions are structured in a way that makes you understand the mechanisms of the disease. This is not a book for list learners! I used the 2nd edition for my part 1 finals and am looking forward to this new edition for my part II's. If you liked K&C this is a pure must.
Essential for PLAB or MRCP Part I
This book accompanied by Kumar and Clark is an excellent revision guide for MRCP Part I or PLAB. Candidates must go back and forth from the main text to the MCQ book to obtain maximum benefit from this book. It is recommended that candidates do this until they can get almost all the questions correct. Only when the candidate is at this stage should he or she attempt MRCP Part 1 or PLAB.
