Essential radiological anatomy
This book is a very useful reference for radiology trainees that is easy to read, adequately comprehensive and good value for money. There are many exhaustive anatomy textbooks ideal for occasional reference but this book should form the backbone of your radiological anatomy revision. Note must be made that the second edition has rid itself of most of the errors from its first edition.
Useful primer if spoilt by errors
There are very few anatomy textbook tailored to the needs of Part I FRCR students. This book fills an important niche and provides a useful primer for basic anatomy. However, it is riddled with careless errors on every page. The text suffers from left/right confusion and the diagrams are frequently mislabelled. It cannot be recommended in its present form, but a second edition with corrections would be very welcome.
decent but in need of a second edition with corrections
This book is useful for preparation for Part I of the FRCR or FFR,RCSI. However it is riddled with errors both in the text and images (particularly left v. right) It does have the advantage of being tailored to radiographic anatomy but it is essential to use it in conjunction with a reliable anatomy textbook. The quality of the binding is appalling.
