Customer Reviews

Now i Understand!5
Having studied biology at school, i had a general idea of what to expect when i started my nurse training. However when i bought this book i found that it not only vastly extended my knowledge, but it was very clear to understand and it has some very detailed and usefull diagrams. One of the best things about this book is that it is so easy to apply to every aspect of nurse training and i'm sure i will have to buy another copy before i finish as i use it so often. Brilliant book worth every penny!

There's no excuse for not understanding physiology any more!5
Having never done biology at school and now commencing with my nurse training, this book by Hinchliff has proven invaluable in explaining basic concepts and terminology for anatomy and physiology. The other books recommended on our reading list were too highbrow and clinical. This book makes a refreshing change to read and look at. Each chapter is clearly colour coded for clarity and the simple diagrams can make the most complexed aspects of physiology look easy. In comparison to other books on this subject matter it covers exactly the same content, yet is far simpler to understand!!! If like me, you struggle with this subject then let your struggling end here... this book will end your nightmare of misunderstanding of how the human body works.

This book is a classic.5
I am in an MSc- and I still use this book. Easy colour-coded chapters, plain English, excellent illustrations and it's all related to nursing practice with case studies and "real life" examples.

I especially like the way Watson's links to different chapters in this book- together, they are an excellent resource for any student or nurse and well worth the investment.

Even without Watson's, this book will provide the student or nurse with the necessary information to develop a good understanding of physiology and how it relates to nursing practice.
