Grainger & Allison's Diagnostic Radiology 5th Edition Single Best Answer MCQs

What a fantastic book. Of all the new FRCR2a exam books available this is the best. Acts as a brilliant focus for revision. Fully referenced answers to direct learning. Buy this one!

Diagnostic Radiology4
This is a useful revision tool with helpful links to the exact pages where the correct information can be found in various books.
Succinct answers are provided, but perhaps more information on why incorrect answers are not correct would be useful.
As with other SBA books, maybe including an index of topics at the back would be helpful.
Definitely worth buying.

OK but only if you have G&A2
As the book title states this is a companion to G&A seen by many as the bible in learning radiology. Although it is excellently referenced, authors more often or not are leaving the answer section blank (i.e. with just the correct answer and reference but no explanation). You would have to look it up in the G&A yourself. This is fine, but it can't hurt to put a couple of lines in the explanation to save you the hassle of looking up things which can be extremely time consuming and time is precious when you are revising for the exam and you just want to get through as many questions as possible! For this reason, I have given this book a 2-star.
This book is OK if:
1) you have G&A text by your side.
2) if you have the time to look things up.
