Product Description

John Harker, head of anti-narcotics with an international firm of investigators in London, is running surveillance on Jake Roberts, ex-Real IRA terrorist, presently engaged in a drug-smuggling operation, code-named 'Viper' and based along the Channel coast. Then, from Ben Parry of MI5 John learns that, concurrently with Viper, Roberts is running a second operation as well - Greek Fire. So the two men join forces against their common enemy. They know the aim of Greek Fire: the detonation of a massive bomb in the centre of one of the many towns along the Channel coast. But they don't know which town, and they don't know the timing of the strike although they believe it is imminent. Harker goes undercover in the threatened area, basing himself in the Devon village of Stillwater. It is a choice, which has many unforeseen consequences and death stalks him every step of the way.
