At last a new addition to the popular More Cycling Without Traffic series for those of us who want to potter through the countryside at a leisurely pace taking in the beautiful scenery of the Southwest. Deliberately chosen by the author with families in mind the routes in this book are not for lycra clad athletes. Wherever possible the routes avoid hills and difficult terrain for water courses and leafy lanes with minimal traffic. Full of essential information for the cyclist each volume in the series examines in detail around 30 of the most attractive routes in a particular region, with additional useful information on other cycling opportunities. Every route has been carefully planned to ensure optimum enjoyment for cyclists who wish to take things at their own pace.

Customer Reviews
More Cycling withouth Traffic: Southwest
This book is a great starter's guide giving details of off-road routes, with plenty of information on refreshment breaks, road surfaces, hills, distance, map reference and points of interest. The route descriptions are like taking directions from a friend.
It is obvious that the author has ridden each route giving advice on special points, rather than just a running commentary.
The photographs encourage you to go and enjoy the beautiful scenery on offer.
Also general tips on transporting and enjoying your cycling, making it as trouble free as possible. There are contact details for organisations offering further information on off-road cycling.
A real bonus for any new leisure cyclist - it should be sold with the bike!
