Ozzy Osbourne has always been able to give as good as he gets, seemingly oblivious to nasty band break-ups, rip-offs, alcoholism and even a reputation for eating live animals in public. Yet somehow Ozzy, ever invincible, comes up smiling. Nowadays, he's a hero to millions of metal boys, the patron of Ozzfest, and miraculously, still standing tall and proud. Here's Ozzy's own take on everything, from the Birmingham slaughterhouse through Black Sabbath to his solo career and Ozzfest, in his own inimitable words.

Short, sharp and funny introduction to Ozzy Osbourne
This must be the best-received gift that I've ever bought for my husband! He's old enough to have been around during the time Ozzy was with Black Sabbath and has followed him and his music ever since.
There has been a resurgence in Ozzy's popularity recently due to the MTV series 'The Ozbournes' but this book covers quotes from way back when, especially his good, bad and ugly days!! It goes a long way to dispel a lot of unfounded rumours and confirming a few too.
This is a perfect pick-up and put-down book and doesn't bore you with the first five chapters telling you what a perfect kid he was. It's a series of direct quotes from Ozzy on love, life and rock 'n' role and a peppering of photographs showing him at his worst and best. The underlying message you get from this is that Ozzy is still a little (if not a lot) confused at his popularity and it's well worth the few pounds that Amazon charges!!
As my husband would say, this is a perfect toilet book!!!
Great little book
This book is full of quotes made by Ozzy since the beginig of his career. It is full of thoughts from Ozzy on how he sees himself and the world around him.His loves and hates. A truly compelling book. I loved this book.
My review of 'Ozzy Talking'.
This book quotes Ozzy at various points over the past 30 years or so, as he comments on such things as;
childhood, musical influences, his thoughts on his career, his family, the world of music, politics, death, his love for the History Channel, living abroad, and of course.....the 'thing' with that bat.
The quotes are funny, whitty and......well, Ozzy.
As fans of Ozzy will know, he has his own take on lfe and his life experiences, and thanks to this book, they are all now captured on paper for us all to read.
I feel this book makes a great addition to the collection of any Ozzy Osbourne fan.
