Excellent book covering all aspects of the game4
I am a complete beginner and found this an excellent book to start with. It covers all aspects of the game, from bidding through declarer and defender play with plenty of examples to follow in each section.

It is an extremely well-written and readable book, with very clear explanations throughout.

My only criticism (which is why I didn't award it 5 stars) is that it only covers Acol. As I am learning overseas, where Acol is not popular, this is a slight drawback. Nevertheless, I would still highly recommend it - I am finding it an invaluable aid.
