Indispensable one-volume literary reference
The Reader's Encyclopedia is the one reference work, after my dictionary, that I keep on my desk and use at least once a day. I have had to replace one copy already, having worn it out! Information on an astonishing number of topics at your fingertips in one reference work, clearly cross-referenced, and each entry defined in plain English. It is a superb resource and I recommend it without reservation to anyone interested in the rich literary heritage of the English language.
A First Class Reference Work
I simply cannot improve on the review by "A Customer" and fully endorse his comments. My only regret is that it took me so long to find the book.
