An excellent buy
An excellent and comprehensive resource - well worth buying. Surely must be the best reference book on the saints available. Content was well researched (and kept fully up to date - includes thost beatified / canonized in the Jubilee Year), and the cross referencing clear. I think there may be a tendency for books of this sort simply to describe 'nice legends' - this was certainly not in that category.
