VERY poor CD
This popular book has some good songs but is not worth the added price because of the CD. The CD that comes with it is incredibly poorly recorded with very poor singers. Sometimes the female singer is out of tune and she is incredibly shrill and shakey on notes. The songs often have very little backing. Some popular tunes have been completely changed so they are almost unrecognisable, including the "Banana Boat Song" and "By the Rivers of Babylon". One of the most famous calypso songs "Yellow Bird" is not in the book which was very disappointing. 5 excellent caribbean songs are in the book "Ta-ra-ra-boom-de-ray" which is a very old publication but still in my opinion, value for money.
