Just got back from seeing this at my daughter's school...
...and I was very impressed. The music is excellent, all the kids loved it, and my daughter learned the words simply through singing the songs to herself all the time. The music involved the children so well, that the atmosphere in the hall was electric, even when the majority of them (120 in all!) had nothing to do but sit still.
The script is contemporary without losing the emotional impact of the original story, with a wide variety of characters, tone and pace. Good comic relief, dance scenes, opportunities for pure pantomime. The themes (good, evil, hope, faith, love) will appeal to a wide range of religious and cultural backgrounds, as well as it being all round good fun.
Highly recommended as a school or drama group choice for the winter season.

the best play for children to do in the winter good songs the parents will enjoy it funny in lots of ways overwall i give it 10/10
Snow Queen
We've just presented this with 11-year-olds and it was probably the best musical we've ever done. The songs and music are excellent, and the sound effects are marvellous. The staging was simply done, and there was plenty of opportunity for everyone to have a dramatic part.
