Well presented, but basic
This glossy publication, while very colourful, does not come up to the standard of so many modern design books adopting the same style to warrant the amount of space dedicated to the pictorials. Page after page of over-designed layout with gratuitous imagery take you through a guide which fails to develop in any meaningful way from the first few 'introductory' sections. I would only recommend this publication to people who are completely new to the field and have had no or very little contact with the internet and new media but are keen to get a basic history and feel for the area.

A fantastic look at the multimedia designs of today
This book is a fantastic look at the designs of today and tomorrow. I really highly recommend buying this book if you are interested in graphic design, web design. It's full of amazing graphics, interetsing articles and so much more.
