Common Worship -Initiation
What can I say -if you are an Anglican minister and you need to carry out a baptism, or affim a baptism, recover a baptism penitentially or prepare someone for baptism and confirmation... then this is the book for you. Literally, THE book (unless you want to use the Book of Common Prayer, which is also fine) but otherwise -this is your authorised alternative.
Cover is a rather startling blue in my opinion, maybe supposed to symbolise water?
Only 4 ribbon markers, which is 2 less than Common Worship Daily Prayer, but 2 more than Common Worship Services and Prayers -so reasonably good value on that front...er, it's a taller book than the other two I mentioned -but I may have accidently ended up with a large-print copy...
Ooh -you can also find a non-baptismal service of thanksgiving at the start.

If you wanted to lead a group of 'catechumens', new churchgoers or lapsed churchgoers, on a Lent course -there are enough initiation services along the road to provide you with all you could possibly need.
