New Paths of Worship
I have no doubt that this volume is indispensable for the Parish Priest, and hardly less so for Lay Readers, or Lay Assistants, who are involved in putting services together and/or leading. But Times and Seasons goes so much further than that. There is a richness and variety of content across the whole spectrum of its Seasonal material that is truly rewarding for all Christians, not just in Preparation for Public Worship, but also as part of Daily Prayer throughout the Christian Year. Although I return to The Book of Common Prayer periodically (and it took me a long while to let go of the language and format that I had grown up and old(!) with) there is such diversity in Common Worship (from the Main Volume, through Daily Prayer to Times and Seasons) that it is my principal source of Worship.

this book is an excellent resource for all in ministry. also for all who are interested in the different services and season changes in the church of england

Timely and Seasonal
I started using this at Advent/Christmas, to put together our own Orders of Service and will also be delving into it for Lent. It seems an excellent smorgasbord resource of material for use in the seasons of the Church Year - highly recommended so far!
