Very Very Helpful
As someone who always needs to 'tick start' to my prayers - I find the Companion to the Revised Common Lectionary series a super help not only for prayers on my won or with the congregation but in sermon preparation.
Once the prayers have been started then the words and ideas tend to flow much better. What these great books do is give the preacher a good starting point.
Well thought out series.
