The Reign of Elizabeth
This book is not only an indispensable aid in the understanding of the reign of Elizabeth, it is also written in an attractive and appealing manner, which generates a genuine interest for the topic. As an A-Level History student I have found it both an exceptional read and a valuable study guide, the engaging way in which it is written makes History homework, research, coursework and revision undemanding and enjoyable. Each chapter has comprehensive detail of the many aspects that affected the failures and successes of Elizabeth’s government and the summaries, focus tasks and essay questions ensure that the information is grasped in addition to providing valuable exam practise, whilst the diagrams, illustrations and charts are an effective revision aid. I recommend this book wholeheartedly as a must have for any A-level History student studying Elizabeth's reign.
