For each experiment there are: technician's sheets - a detailed requirements list, with notes on apparatus and instructions for making up solutions; teacher's notes - brief comments, including likely sources of error and difficulty, possible alternatives, and the accuracy to be expected; specimen results - including step-by-step calculations, where appropriate; suggested answers to follow-up questions; and blank tables - for students to fill in (these are provided only for the observation and deduction experiments, and for a few others where the results tables are large and/or complex).
