Product Description

This is an updated edition of Modern World History, which has been revised to meet all the core requirements of AQA's 2003 Modern World History specification.
It follows the format of the first edition, with the same user-friendly style that can improve students' exam grades. It selects the content that forms the basis for the most popular AQA exam questions and presents this content in a way that makes it easy to revise.
Each chapter includes analysis of past AQA exam questions, explains what examiners are looking for in students' answers and helps readers direct their revision accordingly. The text also helps students plan their revision to avoid last-minute panics and encourages active revision with carefully structured in-built revision tasks.

Customer Reviews

A solid support throughout my two years5
This was the best investment I had made for my GCSE History course. It is succinct, full of information, past questions and - crucially - model answers with suggestions for improvement. The presentation is neat, clean and simple, without the clutter and over-illustration of CGP textbooks. I suppose it was slightly bland at times, but I just wrote in lots of notes from other sources to put all my notes together into one comprehensive book. Definitely worth getting.

AMAZING BOOK!5
I'm a year 10 student and if you are studying modern world history for AQA GCSE then this book is definitely for you, whether you are top of the class or just struggling, this book is brilliant, it gives you all of the information you need and more, this is a revision guide and it is bigger than my text book! does that not say so,mething it has relevant information and with every GCSE question in this book they have both "what the question is looking for" and "what you should include in your answer" sections, the only draw back from this book is its lack of colour but for that price and for the amount of content i can live without it, this book is a book for anybody, it is less like a revision guide and mroe like a proper book it is interesting to read where the text book stops, this book is for anybody even if you are not studying for this specification, (if you're not studying it then why are you here?) this is a must have, infact my teacher when she looked at teh booked ordered a set for her the year 11 history group. once again this book is definitely worth your money!

The History GCSE Bible5
This book is the Bible for anyone doing this specification of GCSE History. It gives you what you need to know, covering everything that comes up in the exam papers (and it does, everything I needed to know was in this book), without there being so much it freaks you out. Get this book and learn it - and you will do really well!
