Customer Reviews
Enjoyment and education cleverly blended together.
I first purchased this book as I embarked upon my A' level cosmology module and found it amazingly good as ordinary reading material. Even though I study physics I don't see myself as a person who enjoys scientific stuff outside of school and naturally I was stunned to discovered myself reading on and on. I was pleased that ?3 of my hard earned money was not just going to my education but also to my enjoyment of life, and also taking a few of my 'sleep' hours away at the end of the day. A good read and a good companion to your understanding of astrophysics.
Why out of print?
As a teacher I found this book invaluable and was keen to buy a school set of them, but I was gutted to find it was out of print!
Highly accessible to A-level students, informative and comprehensive. If you can get hold of a copy, snap it up.
One happy bunny
Seller was very responsive to communication, and accommodated my need to have the book quickly dispatched. Book was well packaged & arrived in good condition.
