Customer Reviews
Eminently readable and even enjoyable.
This book was a real pleasure to read. It made the sometimes murky field of confidence intervals almost crystal clear. -some of the formulas do however need to be skipped to keep one's sanity. Overall it is the best book on statistics I have ever read.
Does what it says on the tin
Useful and well written overview of the calculation of confidence intervals, and the reasons we all should be using them. The diskette provides a handy program to take the sting out of the maths, so none of us have any excuse. If you are looking for detailed mathematical explanations of probability distribution functions however, you will need to look elsewhere.
