About the Author
Sandra Shultz has been a certified athletic trainer since 1984. She has a broad clinical perspective with professional experience at college, high school and clinical settings, as well as at Olympic and International levels. Peggy Houglum has more than 30 years of experience in rehabilitation and providing athlete care. David Perrin was editor-in-chief of the Journal of Athletic Training from 1996 to 2004 and the founding editor of the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation.

Excellent manual for anyone interested in Sports medicine4
473 pages of easily explained assessmentsin sports injuries. Although the title is specific of athletics injuries, this book is about injuries that can take place in any Sport. from horse riding to basketball to soccer to table tennis. each area of the body either individually or collectively, for example shoulder and arm; thorax and abdomen, has a chapter, which gives indepth instructions of what to look for, how to assess, and individual techniques for a wide variety of investigative tests to isolate what type of injury or injuries. there are chapters on categorising injuries, also on the principles of assessment.
this is a book no sports medicine practitioner should be without.
