A good specialised guide to magick
I recommend reading this book if you already know the basics of Wicca or other Pagan path, and want to know about the nightkind. Some of this book goes into more technical detail of the ritual and state of mind you need to acquire before understanding the dark side of magick. Some of you may not like the spell-book approach to some of the rituals, but Konstantinos does say you could use your own version of honouring the dark Gods and Goddesses.
If you like studying occult practises, this is another one for your collection.
Different outlook
This gives a totally different look on Witchcraft. Before i didn't know the Nocturnal side of The Craft. I highly recomend this book to those who are interested in Witchcraft and also to those who have an open mind. Even if you arent that interested this book is well worth a read.
Interesting book on witchcraft
I have given this book 4 stars simply for the techniques that Konstantinos’ outlines. What I like about his work is that he writes from experience. I find his metaphysical ideas to be hard to swallow, but that's a minor complaint. Thankfully, he does not shove them down the reader’s throat.
If you can read on past all that to the parts where he gives details of his magical techniques, then it gets much better. Also, I haven’t already read most of his ideas in another book, which is usually the case with occult books. So it is certainly worth buying if you are interesting in actually practicing witchcraft.
