Richard Webster shows you step-by-step how to make and use the most effective talismans. He provides a dictionary of lucky charms from acorns to wishbones. He discusses protective amulets from around the world, particularly those that ward off the evil eye. Then he shows you how to create, charge, purify and empower your own personal talismans for a variety of purposes from attracting love to winning a court case.

Objects made mystic
I've been looking for a book specifically about the manufacture and uses of amulets and talismans for some time now, so was delighted when i came across this book. The detail in the book is fantastic, explaining the historical significances of talismans, amulets and lucky charms, what the differances is between them, how to make them, charge them, suitable stones/linen/gems to use...the list goes on. It also covered (to my delight) numerology, magic squares and yantras and even includes the Theban and Magi alphabets. The only critisism (and it's a tiny one) is the lack of illustrations. More would have been nice. If not for that it would have had a five star rating
