Understanding the Wheel of the Year5
This book is a chance for Grimassi. Here he writes primarily about Celtic themes and pantheons as they relate to the Wheel of the Year in modern Wicca and Witchcraft.

The book essentially examines the Wheel of the Year as it artfully follows a mated deity pair through each of the seasons. Behind all of this Grimassi paints an enlightening vision of the associated inner mysteries that comprise the Craft as a viable religious and spiritual path.

Of particular value, the book does an excellent job of clearly depicting the aspects of the Goddess (Great Goddess, Earth Mother, Moon Goddess, Star Goddess, Underworld Goddess, Crossroads Goddess, and Fate Goddess). Grimassi also does the same with the God (Horned God, Green Man, Sacred King, Harvest Lord, Child of Promise, Underworld God, and Smith God/Hammer God).

Overall, this book is an amazing collection of the lore, myths and legends that are woven into the fabric of the Craft. As a bonus, Grimassi also writes on the Teachings of the Sacred Tree, and the Hearth Teachings, as the rooted and foundational elements of the beliefs and practices of modern Wicca and Witchcraft. This is really an incredible book.
