Fills in the gaps between season 1 and 2 a treat!4
At first i wasn't sure whether this book would be any good: six short stories chronicling the adventures of Buffy and the gang throughout their summer vacation following the events of the season one finale.

I was wrong!

The book follows Buffys Adventures in L.A whilst she is living with her dad and does it well. The authors had a lot to take into considereation with continuity, but suceeded, and managed to produce interesting, gripping tales which i found hard to put down!

Meanwhile, in Sunnydale, the rest of the stories concentrate on GIles, Jenny and Angel who are trying to keep all their adventures a secret from Xander and Willow so they can have a quiet summer. They have to face a shapeshifter, an army of zombies, a pack of touring vamps and bury the masters bones!

These stories are about 40 pages each and use imaginitive original ideas. The authors range from the familiar to the new, but all of them impressed me!

I would definately buy this book if you are a fan of the series and you've always wanted to know what happened throughout their summer. I really look forward to volume 2!

An interesting look into Buffy's feelings after season one.4
A collection of short stories that takes place in between seasons 1 and 2 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I found this book intruiging with many insights into the characters, but my favourite stories were hte ones invlving Buffy in LA. The book examines her relationship with death (soon to be re-examined in later seasons of the programme) and also with her father. We get a lot of insight into Buffy's mind and feelings I believe that this is something that we do not obtain from the programme.

I don't want to waffle too much, so I'll sum it up for you. A good read.

Evil never sleeps...4
Just because Buffy and co. are on vacation it doesn't mean that the monsters are. This collection of short stories fills the gap between the first and second school year.
All the stories follow the Buffy format incredibly well and are well-written and very interesting.
If you like Buffy, then is book is a must-have
