Customer Reviews
As clear as an episode playing in your head!
Its suprising how easily John Passerella writes so many twists and turns without confusing the reader. Avatar is probably the best of the Buffy/Angel spin off novels I have read. The authors of these books usually stick to the safety of Buffy & Angel's relationship and skim over any possible chemistry between any of the other characters, but this book really nicely emphasies the friendship between Angel and Cordelia, and, more interestingly, Cordelia and Doyle. A great book to read if you haven't watched the "Angel" series, as there is only one character who was not in the "Buffy" series. John Passarella stays faithfull to the last with the characters, it is almost like having an episode played straight into your head.
Best Yet
This has got to be the best of the Angel books I have read.
It's got everything, a convincing plot which is well executed. The characters are all true to their originals, often you feel as though you can hear Doyle's voice or see Angel's expression.
This book achieves what so many TV tie-ins do not, it is an extended episode.
I'd recommend this book to anyone.
Absolutely Riveting!
This book is fantastic! I am a huge Angel fan and I am going to get soul trade too as avatar was wicked. It has a lot of angel fighting scenes and also funny ones with Doyle and Cordelia, angel's partners. You also read about Angel's flirting with a young tv presenter and read about him kicking demon's butt! You should absolutely get this book, it is really very great!
