Interesting insight into an influential figure
The book charts the rise of Greg Dyke's career, from growing up in West London suburbs to his appointment as Director General of the BBC. The book is full of interesting anecdotes from people who have known and worked with Dyke over the years. However, unlike Chris Horrie's previous work (Live TV), the book isn't quite as witty. Nevertheless it is still a good read, if only to read behind the lines in the run up to Dyke's appointment at the BBC...
