THE UNSPEAKABLE CRIME OF ANDREA YATES
This book is sensational in the crime it portrays but also very disturbing. I had to put the book down on a number of occasions as it upset me so much. It is extremley well written and goes in depth into all points of view. I finished the book last night and to be honest had trouble putting it out of my mind. After finishing it I went into my little boys bedroom and gave him a big kiss and thanked my lucky stars that hes with me. How any mother could do this to her children beggars belief, mental illness or not. The way in which she did it disturbs me the most, forcefully holding them down one by one while they struggled for their lives. I am an avid reader of true crime but must say that this book has affected me more than any other, in that I find myself thinking of those beautiful innocent children who loved their mother dearly and trusted her to protect them. So very, very sad.

i think this book is hard to put down. it lets you go into the mind of someone who has serious mental issues. its gripping and sad. she cried for help and never got it. and it turned ugly. read it yourselves and see. good book
