Customer Reviews

A good looking game guide, but is it really necessary?2
This guide is divided into three sections: Boot Camp, Walkthrough and Multiplayer.

Boot Camp: starts with a useless introduction to Fox Company. The section on Weapons of WW II is more interesting as it lists all weapons in the game and which levels each are available.

Walkthrough: This is the largest section (p21 - p118) which explains each level of the single player game. It seems to strike a useful balance between text and graphics (and all screenshots are clear and accurate).

Multiplayer: The last dozen or so pages are devoted to the multiplayer game - which for most of us means on-line play. This is perhaps the most useful section as it explains the ranking system, map specific weapons and special `abilities' (like Health Packs which will heal you or your buddies, or the infamous Air Strikes options).

In the end, the presentation of this strategy guide is amongst the best I've seen: the numerous pictures are good but balanced with enough text. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of this guide is that it somehow captures the atmosphere of the game. A notable achievement indeed!

Conclusion:
The Boot Camp section can easily be ignored.
The Walkthrough is not much help if you're stuck, and even if it was, it would only shorten an already short game!
Multiplayer is the most useful section, but it's also the shortest.

The presentation of this guide is top quality, but I fear that CoD2: BRO is not really complicated enough to need a guide.
