Amazing illustrations, easy dialogue
Maisy makes Gingerbread in the same way that my three year old and I make it. We throw in everything and mix. It comes out of the oven and is eaten by a handful of best friends before it is cold and hard. This is a book which we related to big time!
Maisy always gets it right; a simple story which any child can relate to, told in a way which was easy to understand and not at all taxing on the childs level of understanding or the parents story telling abilities! The bright colours help to keep even the most hyperactive child interested.
This book is for active three to four year olds and will be read again and again until the child is word perfect.

My 4 year old is a massive Maisy fan and this is her favourite maisy book. The bold and colourful pictures are ideal for pre-school children and the text is bold and simple, therefore also appropriate for young readers.
