About the Author
Jan Pienkowski was a co-founder of the greetings card company Gallery Five (of which he remains a director), he has worked as an art director in advertising, publishing and the BBC children's television series, Watch. He has produced many books for children, including the hugely popular Meg and Mog books, written by Helen Nicoll, Pizza and Good Night, two pop-up titles that he wrote and illustrated himself. He has twice won the Kate Greenaway Medal, first for his illustrations to Joan Aiken's The Kingdom Under the Sea, and then for the classic pop-up book Haunted House.

My 2 year old LOVES this
This is a totally great book, with lovely "pop up" movements and flaps. The finishing page of animals going in 10 by 10 makes the whole family really laugh every time - 10 sheep whose mouths open and close, as if they're singing too. Really good book.
