Customer Reviews
St. Louis children love reading Jill Murphy's books.
We liked All in One Piece Because when Mrs Large thought she was all in one piece, she had paint all on her dress where she sat in the paintbox
Not the best Large Family story, but excellent all the same
Jill Murphy really hit a home run when she created the Large Family. Larger than life, twice as lovable, this family of elephants has more human characteristics than most, and the clever blend of simple and sophisticated humour means the adults enjoy reading them as much as the kids!
This isn't the best in the series, but it's still very good. If you don't have any of these books, I would recommend starting with Five Minutes' Peace and a Quiet Night In, as these two are hilarious. If you have both of those, then this one is as good as the others to follow up.
Jill Murphy, please write some more of these books! Our whole family (parents and kids) love them!
