Comprehensive and concise consideration of the conflict
Concise and deceptively comprehensive, Conflict and Change in Northern Ireland is an ideal resource. The book provides a thorough consideration of the chronology and critical phases of the Northern Ireland conflict and negotiations while integrating previously well worn arguments with the new debates associated with a changing Northern Ireland. It considers the consquences of the Good Friday/Belfast Agreement and conflict regulation as well as explaining the institutional and policy features of devolution, conflict regulation, the electoral and party system in Northern Ireland and the dilemmas for the politicans and people. A good clear read.

Fantastic for new-comers to the conflict
This book is excellent if you are studying the issues of the area for the first time. It covers all the main topics, and gives the relative perspectives of each group on each issue. It is sometimes lacking in closer detail if you are essay-writing, and has very little on the hunger strikes, but other than that, it's a great book!
