Product Description

We are all on a journey through life; for many people, it is a spiritual journey where we ask questions and seek to discover more about ourselves and God. Rather than tourists focused on sightseeing, we are pilgrims in search of the Holy, seeking to deepen our relationship with God and his universe. Designed to be dipped into, this book is ideal for individual or group use. The thoughts, images, quotations, prayers, poetry and music provide a creative way to help the reader connect with God. Contents include: The Journey, Spirit of Creation, Rhythms of Rest, Seeds of Silence, Oasis of Peace, Cords of Love, Dance of Joy, and The Journey Beyond.

The Celtic Heart5
I was given this book by a friend whilst going through a time of difficulty - and found it amazing. It just seemed as if God was reassuring and loving me through the words on each page. There was so much that I could identify with. As lack of sleep was part of the problem, the CD of music became my night-time comfort and lullaby. I still play it now if I my mind is anxious or troubled.
One of the things I particularly liked about 'The Celtic Heart' is that I've been able to give copies to friends, and it has really touched them also. I think it would be especially helpful for people going through tough times. It was a light at the end of a tunnel for me personally. I hope very much that it will encourage and bless others, as it has done me.

Beauty and relaxation5
Liz Babbs and Simeon Wood have, in their Book and CD combo, produced a beautiful set of reflections based on the theme of Celtic Christianity. This is a book for absorbing when the pressures of life are mounting, or during a period of quiet meditation.

One of the book's key themes is God revealing himself in creation. The prose (some scripture quotes, some quotes from Celtic origins) are interweaved with photographs of Celtic sites across Britain.

I would thoroughly recommend this book, particularly for those with busy or stressful lives, or for those interested in dipping into Celtic Christianity.

recommended read5
I found this book a delight to read. It is beautifully illustrated, has thoughts and quotes from a variety of sources, including the bible. These can be read separately or along with the specially composed music on the accompaning cd. This is an ideal gift as well as a little book to keep alongside for personal use.I find I go back to it again and again.
