Face to face with his worst nightmare.
This was the first of David Morrell's books that I was exposed to and what an introduction to a fantastic author.
This story tells of a spy on a mission who comes face to face with someone from a previous mission, someone who knew him with a different name and identity, someone who doesn't want to keep quiet when fobbed off. Every undercover operative's nightmare comes true for Buchanan as he realises that he is expendable.
Brilliant stuff, completely compelling all the way through, if you only read one book this summer, read this one.
