For Mary Callaghan, marriage has brought heartaches and disappointment. But with it have come joys, the greatest of which are her daughters. And what Mary wants most in the world for her girls is what she never had - a husband who will offer the security her own hard-drinking, free-spending, brash-talking Jack denied her. fantastic
Reading this book at the moment and cant put it down - nearly finished in one day [a sunday so no work] just about managed to put it down to take the dog for a walk.
Pleasantly Surprised
This is not somethiing I would normally read but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I learnt a lot of what happened during the war and the characters were likeable.
I'll definately be reading her books again.
