Average customer review:Product Description
Hamish is a Highland cow and VERY hairy. He hates having baths and NEVER cuts his hair. Why should he when his shaggy coat is the perfect place to keep his favourite sweet - toffees! But one day his friends get fed up with the increasingly smelly Hamish, and they hatch a plan that involves a hairdresser and, yes, toffees! An exuberant story with bold, bright illustrations from a very talented artist. 'Russell's bright-eyed cast, including sheep with coloured rinses, is full of character and her text is deftly delivered - it's a gift to read aloud.' Scottish Sunday Herald

Customer Reviews
Fantastic Fun
My 2 year old loves this book and loves saying all the smelly words like "poo-wee" and "pong" as children do!! The toffee eating cow needs to get cleaned up so he goes to the hairdressers. It also helps getting over the message about what a hairdresser is and that it is fun. Not having yet to visit one I hope she realises it is a nice place to go. There is a surprise for Hamish at the end and my daughter loves shouting "surprise".
Hamish The Highland Cow
Item arrived very quickly and not quite in a new condition, however the two year old who now owns it will no doubt leave his own mark.
Hamish is a gas
Hamish the Highland Cow is a gas. I love reading it with my three year old and she never tires of it. Natalie Russell's characters are very catchy and the simple, earthy storyline of Hamish, the toffee-loving cow and his outing to the hairdressers is a bedtime favourite.
