Customer Reviews
A concise little book covering the subject in just 98 pages.
This book is an excellent introduction and refresher to human anatomy and physiology. It simplifies the whole subject but this does not detract from the content. Arnould-Taylor divides the body into eight major systems and covers each system from function, through compostion and finally disorders of that system. Yet he manages to do this in less than fifteen pages, and for some sytems only six, which is remarkable considering each chapter is packed with clear line drawings to help describe each system. The whole subject is covered in just 98 pages. This is a must read for anyone who requires an overview of human anatomy and physiology for the first time or as a refresher for those who are returning to the subject, and the only reason this book did not receive five stars is because it has no colour drawings.
