The perfect accompaniment to the edexcel A-level
This book is the perfect accompaniment to the edexcel A-level syllabus as it has been written the leading examiners of the edexcel board. Although some of the information contained within this book is generic to all biology A-level students I would not recommend this book to anyone who is not going to study edexcel as some of the information is very 'board specific'. This book comes with past exam questions and answers to match which I have found other such books to be lacking in. However it would be always useful for the book to have more questions as it seems quite limited.

Very detailed! A bit long-winded.
I bought this initially as a revision book. But soon realised although it goes into great detail, it's a bit long winded for revision. To keep you interested in the endless pages and pages of reading, they should make it a bit shorter, punchier and straight to the point. Very detailed and great if you're looking at this information for the first time, not suitable for revision!

Poor
I think, as do my biology class, that this book is poor. it has some good diagrams but the text is long winded and goes around the actual point. it's a hard book to learn from and I wouldn't advise it to anyone.
